William Shatner is a Canadian actor, best known for playing Captain James T. Kirk in "Star Trek" but he's also released a lot of records over the years. Some are original tunes, many are covers, but he brings personality to each track. And many are pretty good - much better than expected every time. This track is one he did with Henry Rollins on the 2004 album, "Has Been". The song is hilarious, imo, and I still love it.
The Makin Waves Song of the Week is "In the Congo," a live version of which will be released May 23 on "The Shroud of Touring: Live in 1985" on CD only on JEM Records.
