The Cruzados were a band from Los Angeles that released two albums in the 1980s and had a huge hit with "Bed of Lies" - a song whose video received heavy play on MTV. It's one of my favorite rock tracks of the 80s.
There are a lot of great songs on this album. In addition to the big hit, my favorites include "Small Town Love", "Chains of Freedom", "Road of Truth", "I Want Your World to Turn", "Young and on Fire", and "Summer's Come, Summer's Gone".
They were always a band I thought should have been bigger. Tito Larriva (vocalist/guitar) founded the band (originally called The Plugz) in 1978. He would go on to play in the band Tito & Tarantula.
