I knew he wrote a few book in the past so I asked for his assistance in my new venture into writing. He gave me many tips and even proofread some of my earlier pieces. He sent me two books, one that he wrote and another that his son wrote.

Katchats about the famous Camino de Santiago
Have you ever had a place far far away in your conscience? Not quite sure when or why? I have always wondered what it would be like to walk the Camino. Camino comes from caminar in Spanish, to walk. Camino can also mean road, track, path or way. Camino is most famously associated with the, "Camino de Santiago", (way of St. James), which is a historical long-distance walking pilgrimage.

Back in 2019, I drove to Beaufort, NC and back with my mom to attend my nieces wedding. It felt great to be on the road and taking charge of my destination. When I returned home I felt SO proud of myself and the distance I could drive in one day.

I believe nothing ever happens as a coincidence, it is just meant to be. Almost 18 years ago I had interest in going to see a singer songwriter from Asbury Park, New Jersey. When I arrived at the brewery I found out that artist was ill and another artist was there to take his place.

Along with a group of other artists that were promoting the Light of Day Foundation, founded by Bob Benjamin. LOD raises funds through music gigs to help find a cure for Parkinson's Disease along with ALS, PSP and other related diseases.

Katchats: My Musical Journey Part 2
In 1978, I relocated to Southern California, but by 1989 my first husband and I separated then divorced. After a trip back to New Jersey to attend a childhood friend's wedding, I made the decision to stay in New Jersey to raise my 6 year old daughter and my one and 1/2 year old son. There was something special about raising my children where I grew up and surrounding them with my parents and family. After four years in New Jersey, I reacquainted with a school friend, who had always had a crush on me. We were married in 1993. Finally I was back home!
