Indigo Girls to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award at 21st Annual Americana Honors & Awards show
(NASHVILLE, TN) -- Indigo Girls will be honored with The Spirit of Americana Award for lifetime achievement as songwriters and recording and touring artists as well as outspoken social activists during a televised ceremony at the historic Ryman Auditorium on Wednesday, September 14. The awards ceremony serves as the hallmark event of Americanafest produced by the Americana Music Association (the AMA), which takes place this year on Sept. 13-17 in Nashville, TN.

Rock On! This Week's Sound Bites...10/24/24
"Just a couple of changes," states Otis front man Boone Froggett, "When the pandemic hit, we only got to play maybe seven shows in 2020 and our original drummer decided that he wanted to stay home and do the family thing and our original guitar player decided he wanted to play bass for another rock band. So, that just left myself on vocals and guitar and co-founder John Seeley on bass. So, we brought in Dale Myers on drums and Alex Wells on guitar and started touring again in 2023."
