The Hold Steady Release First Single From "The Price of Progress"

The Hold Steady have announced the release of their ninth studio album, The Price of Progress, arriving everywhere on the band’s Positive Jams label via Thirty Tigers on Friday, March 31, 2023. It will be available digitally as well as on CD, standard black vinyl, translucent green-colored vinyl (band store), metallic gold (indie retail), metallic silver (Vinyl Me, Please), and white (Rough Trade). Pre-orders are available now. The Price of Progress is heralded by the premiere of the album's first song, “Sideways Skull,” available now at all DSPs and streaming services.

Razor Braids shares new single, covers Weezer & announces winter tour dates

Fresh off the heels of a year-end blowout show at Baby's All Right on Dec. 28, Razor Braids kicks off 2023 by sharing an ode to one of their favorite cities, "Nashville, Again," as well as a cover of Weezer's "Buddy Holly." The band has also announced an extensive Feb / March tour, including a stop in Austin for SXSW.
