Low Cut Connie releases "King of the Jews"

The South Philadelphia-based rock 'n' roll artist Low Cut Connie released "King of the Jews" from his forthcoming album Art Dealers out September 8 via Contender Records. On the new song, frontman Adam Weiner gets deep in the weeds of his personal and ethnic identity, rejecting antisemitism and fear, and arriving at a place where his Jewishness becomes a source of strength and power. An official video for the song was inspired by Warhol's Factory films, featuring Weiner wrapping himself in Tefillin.

Trevor Hall releases "train song"

Trevor Hall has shared "train song," the newest sampling from his forthcoming album Trevor Hall and The Great In-Between. "'train song' points to the invisible power within that keeps us going on our life journey despite any hurdles or setbacks we may encounter. For me personally, it celebrates all of the concerts, songs, and travels that I've had the gift of participating in and also reflects on how the power of love always brings us home," says Trevor.

LATEWAVES Signs With Open Your Ears Records and Will Release New Album in September

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Alt-rock band LATEWAVES has signed to Richmond-based Open Your Ears Records. The trio joins the independent label's rapidly growing roster, which includes such artists as Another One Down!, House & Home, Guardrail, Sea Of Storms, and more.

Foxtide releases "Hold On"

Returning with their first new music of 2023, Southern California garage rock band Foxtide has released "Hold On." Combining a haughty aloofness in vocal delivery with experimentation in the stickiness of modern pop music formulas, the result is a windows-down-in-the-car, over the speed limit track. Coming in at the sweet spot of just over three minutes, the song harkens to the golden age of early 2000s rock, fueled by the modern DIY scene.

Kentucky Cowpunks Nine Pound Hammer set to release "Rock 'N Roll Radio"

(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- In the wake of the digital music revolution and the advent of streaming platforms, the traditional concept of radio – as a place where music lovers would go to hear their favorite artist’s new single or discover some buzz about a band – has largely gone the way of the 8-track. But for a generation of fans and artists, rock radio still holds a place in our hearts, and Kentucky's premiere progenitors of southern fried cowpunk, Nine Pound Hammer, come not to bury rock radio but to celebrate it in all its glory.
