The Gaslight Anthem share "Howl" from Surprise Crossroads Show
originally published: 07/07/2022
The Gaslight Anthem have shared “Howl (Live at Crossroads: 6/18/22),” an official performance video filmed last month at the band’s surprise return to the stage for the first time in four years, streaming now at YouTube. “Howl (Live at Crossroads: 6/18/22)” – which marked the opening song of The Gaslight Anthem’s secret set on what was supposed to have been the final night of frontman Brian Fallon’s three-show solo run at Garwood, NJ’s Crossroads – captures the shock and elation of the sold-out crowd of 200 fans in attendance as they realized the momentous occasion they were a part of.
The complete show – which saw The Gaslight Anthem performing greatest hits and fan favorites from across their catalogue, along with a very special cover of Nirvana’s “Come As You Are” – is still available for livestream replay now through Saturday, July 9 at 11:45 pm (ET). Tickets are available HERE.
This spring saw The Gaslight Anthem officially announce their return to active status with a hugely-anticipated world tour that kicks off August 9 at Berlin, Germany’s Columbiahalle and is followed by an EU/UK run that includes shows at London’s legendary OVO Arena Wembley (August 18) and Dublin, Ireland’s National Stadium (August 23). North American dates begin September 13 at Portland, OR’s Roseland Theater and then continue through early October. They will be at The Met Philadelphia on October 7th and the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on October 8th.
Special guests throughout the tour include Tigers Jaw (September 13-27) and Jeff Rosenstock (September 28-October 5). A number of dates are already sold out – for complete details and remaining ticket availability, please see www.thegaslightanthem.com.
