Remember Jones Releases "Love Will Return"

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Remember Jones has released "Love Will Return" from his upcoming album, HaHa Bitch!  The artist will celebrate the album's release and his own birthday with the first annual Summer Slay! Festival at The Stone Pony on Saturday, July 9th.

This show will showcase Jones’ “won’t U be my hater? TOUR” that continues to tour around the country in 2022, featuring new versions of his old favorites, brand new original songs, and his signature song styling on other popular tunes. On the lineup for this first festival will be Quincy Mumford’s Lifted Laboratory, a long time friend and collaborator of Remember Jones and the first time they will share a bill with their full bands! Other acts for the festival include Tor Miller, Zoe Sparks, and Levy Okun, all with their full bands.

The event will be hosted by and featuring performances from drag queens Jolina Jasmine (Miss Paradise 2016 & 2021), Tastie, and Morrigan von Haunt (hosts of popular drag nights at Georgies Bar in Asbury Park). Throughout the evening will be giveaways and special, audience participating drag makeovers and more. Local Asbury Park establishments Larry Cadillac and Mutiny BBQ will help promote the event with special menu items at their locations and will be involved with integrated segments throughout the show.

The Stone Pony is located at 913 Ocean Avenue in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Tickets are available for purchase online.

Rising, national touring artist, singer/songwriter, and soulful entertainer Remember Jones calls Asbury Park, NJ home. Beyond his original music, he has much acclaim with taking a body of work and reviving it with theatrical concepts and large bands. His dedications to Queen, Amy Winehouse, Jeff Buckley, and Joe Cocker have sold out venues across the country, and has opened the door to sharing stages with such legendary acts Ronnie Spector, Darlene Love, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Buster Poindexter, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, lead vocals with Everyone Orchestra, and many more. Rock On! This Week's Sound Bites...1/23/25

"Yes sir," laughed Stephen Dees of Novo Combo. "The name of the record is "45 West 55th" and that's the address of Michael's apartment in New York City where I first met him and it all started from there. So, that's why we named it that; the album is kind of an anthology not unlike what the Beatles did; in fact, I kind of nicked the idea from them. We have songs that were unreleased demo songs from the first record and of course we recorded new songs as well. We've got five new recordings on the record and we decided that it was a nice way to reclaim our legacy."
