(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Classic rock, amazing songwriters, a free concert and lots of tickets going on sale highlight Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC)'s schedule between June 20 and June 30th. Below is a listing of ticketed and free concerts, and new events going on sale this week.

Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers - Wednesday, June 21 at 7:30pm.Bruce Hornsby first rose to prominence with The Way It Is, his 1986 Grammy-winning debut album. The 13-time Grammy nominee has sold over 11 million albums, and he has performed on releases with over 100 artists including Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead and Willie Nelson, always seeking a unique and personal music path that sparks his creative interest. Tickets range from $39-$79. Limited tickets remain.
Three Dog Night - Saturday, June 24 at 8:00pm. Three Dog Night charted more Top 10 hits than any other music act from 1969-1974. Rock classics like “Joy to the World,” “Black and White,” “Shambala” and “One” crystallize Three Dog Night’s continuing popularity as a legendary rock band. Tickets range from $49-$99. Limited tickets remain.
Rufus Wainwright: Folkocracy Tour - Thursday, June 29 at 8:00pm.One of the great male vocalists and songwriters of his generation, Rufus Wainwright performs music from his upcoming release Folkocracy, in which he revisits his roots, of childhood summers spent at folk festivals and watching his famous family on stage. Featuring Lucy Wainwright Roche and Petra Haden on back-up vocals and a four-piece band, the Folkocracy tour showcases Wainwright’s extraordinary vocal range and depth of interpretation. “Nobody sings quite like Rufus Wainwright” – The New Yorker. Free Event: Arts in the Community presents John McDermott Band’s Sixties Rock & Roll Revue - Wednesday, June 28 at 6:00pm at Pioneer Park. The John McDermott Band performs the iconic hits and music of the 1960s. Sponsored by ADP.

Story Pirates: Amazing Adventure Tour on Sunday, September 24 at 1:00pm & 5:00pm.Story Pirates, the 2022 Webby and iHeart Radio Awards Winner for Best Children’s Podcast is launching their first ever national tour, Story Pirates: The Amazing Adventure Tour. The tour includes Story Pirate Eric, from the popular The Story Pirates Podcast, Alex and Andrew from Story PIrates Presents SPTV, and a video appearance by fan favorite DJ Squirm-a-Lot. Story Pirates Live on Stage: The Amazing Adventure will include sketches based on ideas from children in the audience as well as hit songs from the podcast including “Cats Sit on You” and “Fart Out Loud Day.” Tickets range from $19-$49.
Buddy Guy: Damn Right Farewell - Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 8:00pm. Eight-time Grammy-winner Buddy Guy is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a major influence on rock titans like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan, a pioneer of Chicago’s fabled West Side sound, and a living link to the city’s halcyon days of electric blues. This is your last chance to see this blues legend as he embarks on his farewell tour. Tickest range from $69-$129.
Jim Messina and Pablo Cruise: Oasis in the Sun Tour - Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 7:30pm.A double bill of 70s pop music featuring Pablo Cruise (“Love will Find a Way,” “Watcha Gonna Do,” “A Place in the Sun”) and singer-songwriter Jim Messina, one half of Loggins and Messina (“Your Momma Don’t Dance,” “Angry Eyes”), as well as a member of Buffalo Springfield and Poco. Tickets range from $39-$79.

Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) is located at 100 South Street in Morristown, New Jersey. MPAC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, presents a wide range of programs that entertain, enrich, and educate the diverse population of the region and enhance the economic vitality of Northern New Jersey.
