Eternal Frequency Releases "A.I."

Harrisburg, PA based Heavy Rock band Eternal Frequency has released the second installment of their dark, cinematic, sci-fi imbued series, "A.I." Directed and edited by Tom Flynn with VFX by Kyle Monroe, and preceded by the equally impactful, dystopic and yet uplifting music video for "Step Up," "A.I." continues the band's exploration into the acceptance and assertion of one's individualism in an increasingly oppressive world of technology dominated identity politics.

"’A.I’ is the second installment of our epic trilogy and this picks up where ‘Step Up’ left off. ‘A.I.’ brings up the unavoidable challenge that every artist will eventually face and that is someone who is not part of your camp telling you what they think is best for you. It is about not conforming to anyone's preconceived notion about you and refusing to be controlled by the system. This is our message to be who you are in your image alone," said the band in a press release.

Established in the early spring of 2018, Eternal Frequency is a five piece, female fronted all original hard rock band hailing from Central Pennsylvania (alongside hometown heroes Poison, From Ashes to New, Fuel, LIVE, August Burns Red). They follow in the footsteps of acts such as Spiritbox, Halestorm, Evanescence, and others. Blending influences of Metalcore, Hard rock, and Active Rock, Eternal Frequency brings a new energy that is also dominated by vocalist, songwriter, and frontwoman Emelle. In just under three years as a band they have released several studio singles as well as music videos including "Temptations", "Parasite", "What Are We Waiting For", "Head Like A Hole", and their very popular Queen cover "The Show Must Go On"(all proceeds going to NIVA - National Independent Venue Association) to the masses and have been reaping nothing but positive energy and reviews from their supporters. They have accrued a massively strong following in the Pennsylvania area and have garnered attention in multiple regional markets. Their last, release "Step Up" has garnered a quarter of a million views on YouTube in just under a month and continues to pick up momentum.

They currently record with multi Grammy nominated producers Grant McFarland and Carson Slovak of Atrium Audio (From Ashes to New, August Burns Red, Erra, LIVE, Galactic Empire, Polaris) and established videographers SquareUp Studios (Lorna Shore, ATTILA) and Tom Flynn.

As far as accomplishments go, they've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with established artists such as Of Mice & Men, Adelitas Way, FUEL, John 5, The Haxans (Ash Costello of New Year's Day and Piggy D of Wednesday 13 and Rob Zombie) Smile Empty Soul, The Birthday Massacre, Julien-K, September Mourning, Vixen, Sponge, For the Fallen Dreams, Awake At Last, and Eyes Set to Kill, to name a few. They also took home the award for Best New Artist at the 2019 Central Pennsylvania Music Awards and had the pleasure to honor Halestorm (Inductees) with their rendition of "Familiar Taste of Poison" at the 2020 CPMA's. In addition EF, won Best Hard Rock Band at the 2021 Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame Awards as well as being nominated for Song of the Year.

Rock On! This Week's Sound Bites...1/23/25

"Yes sir," laughed Stephen Dees of Novo Combo. "The name of the record is "45 West 55th" and that's the address of Michael's apartment in New York City where I first met him and it all started from there. So, that's why we named it that; the album is kind of an anthology not unlike what the Beatles did; in fact, I kind of nicked the idea from them. We have songs that were unreleased demo songs from the first record and of course we recorded new songs as well. We've got five new recordings on the record and we decided that it was a nice way to reclaim our legacy."
