Blue Hawk Records releases "Chapter XXIII"

(WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ) --"Chapter XXIII" from Blue Hawk Records is available now on all streaming platforms, as well as on CD and vinyl. The line-up for their 23rd compilation album includes Angela An, Michael Anthony Rocks, Abby Garcia, Ruaa Khalifa, Amani Lillian, and The Blackouts.

Blue Hawk Records will celebrate the release of “Chapter XXIII” album on Friday, December 8, 2023 in the Lauren K. Woods Theater at 6:00pm. Performances from the artists, giveaways, food, and Q&A sessions will be held at the event allowing fans to experience a memorable event.

Amani Lillian is a junior majoring in Music Industry, Ruaa Khalifa is a singer-songwriter who produces her own beats, Abby Garcia is the president of Blue Hawk Records pursuing her love of music, Michael Anthony Rocks is a hip-hop artist with a big stage presence, Angela An is a student-athlete pursuing her interest in music, The Blackouts is a five member band that consists of three D1 athletes, and graduate students. Despite the band consisting of no music majors, they all were brought together through their mutual interest in music and are quickly showing why they are a force to be reckoned with.

“This is another great Blue Hawk Records album. They honestly just keep getting better. This class leaned into this project right out of the gate like pros. I am very impressed and proud”, said Joe Rapolla, Chair of the Music & Theatre Department at Monmouth University, and founder of Blue Hawk Records.

Blue Hawk Records is Monmouth University’s student-run record label and music organization designed to provide music and hands-on experience for the students. Blue Hawk Records has released 22 compilation albums since its inception in 2013. It has active affiliations with major music industry organizations, such as Warner Music Group, Sony, and the GRAMMY Museum, along with notable Jersey Shore music scene organizations, including Lakehouse Music Academy and The Stone Pony, in Asbury Park.
