America Part Two releases "Feel The Break"

America Part Two released the EP AP2-niverse everywhere on May 26, 2022 along with a music video for  "Feel The Break". This is the followup to the single which was the Makin Waves Song of the Week for May 13th, 2022.

America Part Two is the audio journal of Alex Fabio, Fred Rainville & Sam “s3mi” Weingarten. Born in the DIY scene, these three young artists have created a world that blends “the sound of 90’s garage rock, 60’s psychedelic, and 2000’s emo” said Substream Magazine.

The three musicians released the first America Part 2 album Price Of A Nation on March 12th 2021 via Revival Recordings. The New Jersey trio have since gone independent, and on March 8th 2022, released a cover of Link Wray’s radio-banned 1958 smash “Rumble”. This 21st century interpretation of the tune was captured live on the soundboard at House Of Independents (Asbury Park, NJ) and post mixed/mastered by rising producer, and fellow garden state resident, Doug Gallo.

America Part Two’s new EP was live tracked at Yonderbarn, Monticello, NY with Doug Gallo and mixed & mastered at The Blasting Room by Jason Livermore, who boasts recording credits with bands like Rise Against, A Day To Remember, and The Descendents. The EP was assistant engineered by Kelly Cuthbert & Mike Parrone, overdubbed and post-produced by Doug Gallo.

Rock On! This Week's Sound Bites...1/23/25

"Yes sir," laughed Stephen Dees of Novo Combo. "The name of the record is "45 West 55th" and that's the address of Michael's apartment in New York City where I first met him and it all started from there. So, that's why we named it that; the album is kind of an anthology not unlike what the Beatles did; in fact, I kind of nicked the idea from them. We have songs that were unreleased demo songs from the first record and of course we recorded new songs as well. We've got five new recordings on the record and we decided that it was a nice way to reclaim our legacy."
