Talking Heads was a band from New York City that formed in the 1970s. Many of their songs were a combination of punk rock and art rock. This album came out right at the time when MTV was arguably at its peak and Talking Heads took advantage of the video medium.
Talking Heads was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002.
