(GALLOWAY, NJ) -- Inspired by his father's profound impact on Latin music, Tito Puente Jr. and his jazz ensemble will make a tour stop at Stockton University's Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 5, 2025. Showtime is 7:30pm.
Tito Puente, Jr. is a bandleader, percussionist, songwriter and producer who comes from Latin music royalty—his father, Tito Puente, is known as "El Rey de los Timbales" (The King of the Timbales) and "The King of Latin Music." Tito Puente, Jr. has taken on the mantle, continuing to share joy and passion through a high-voltage fusion of jazz, Latin, salsa, merengue and mambo that electrifies audiences wherever it is heard.
Rather than shy away from his father’s legacy, Puente Jr. embraces it, saying, “There was magic in the music my father made. It made people happy all over the world.”
