(LAKEWOOD, NJ) -- Children and tweens of all ability levels will have a fun, accessible romp as they “Sing & Play with Miss Kat and SLP Musically” at the Ocean County Library Lakewood Branch on Thursday, April 17, 2025. The event begins at 10:30am.
Miss Kat tailors her program for youngsters aged 3 to 12 who have speech impediments or developmental disabilities. She will perform a wide variety of children’s songs, modern pop tunes and originals in a happy, sing-along style.
Remember to bring your voice, your love of music and/or your AAC device. Miss Kat will provide adapted percussion instruments for group play and encourage participants to sing through switches and other augmentative and alternative communication devices.
ASHA certified and New Jersey licensed speech-language pathologist Katherine Tappan-Verderosa, “Miss Kat,” provides empowering entertainment and offers consultations, therapy services, and device training for children and families through her Middletown-based SLP Musically.
