(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Carolyn Dorfman Dance returns to the Bickford Theatre at the Morris Museum for Life Love Laugh on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 4:00pm. This is a performance of enduring works that showcase the artistry, humor, and range of its stunning and athletic ensemble.
Dancers will include Kayleigh Bowen, Tyler Choquette, Dominique Dobransky, Hannah Gross, Maiko Harada, Brandon Jones, Jacob Kurihara, Aanyse Pettiford-Chandler, Charles Scheland, Jared Stern; Katlyn Baskin is the rehearsal director.
It will be an unforgettable program, offering a captivating perspective of the remarkable works of artistic director Carolyn Dorfman. Some of the popular works include Echad, a mesmerizing dance featuring a 120-pound aluminum wheel symbolizing the relationship between the individual and the community, Keystone which celebrates the endurance of human relationships, The Attitude of Doing, a joyful work from 2022 that brings together Carolyn’s choreography with the music of jazz violinist and MacArthur Fellow Regina Carter, and the comical Divide and Conquer, a work which has not been on stage for almost 15 years.
