Brookdale Performing Arts Center presents "Godspell"

(LINCROFT, NJ) -- The Brookdale Performing Arts Center presents Godspell, directed by John Bukovec, across three weekends from April 4-19, 2025. This high-energy, uplifting musical promises to captivate audiences with a modern-day celebration of love, community, and joy. Godspell brings the teachings of Jesus to life in a contemporary urban setting through a vibrant blend of music, dance, and storytelling.

Featuring unforgettable songs like "Day by Day" and "Prepare Ye," this dynamic and inspiring production will engage and entertain audiences of all ages, leaving them with a renewed sense of hope and happiness. It is an extraordinary theatrical experience that shouldn’t be missed.

The performance schedule for Godspell includes the following dates: Friday, April 4 at 8:00pm; Saturday, April 5 at 8:00pm; Sunday, April 6 at 2:00pm; Friday, April 11 at 8:00pm; Saturday, April 12 at 8:00pm; Sunday, April 13 at 2:00pm (Senior and Veteran Sunday); Friday, April 18 at 8:00pm; and Saturday, April 19 at 8:00pm. Tickets are available for general admission at $20 plus service fees, with a discounted rate of $15 plus service fees for seniors and veterans on Sunday, April 13 (ages 62+ and veterans). Tickets are available for purchase online. Brookdale Performing Arts Center is located at 765 Newman Springs Road in Lincroft, New Jersey.

The playful world of wizardry and witchcraft takes to the stage at Stockton University with a presentation of the play "Puffs, Or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years At A Certain School of Magic and Magic." Performances run April 3–5, 2025, at 7:30 PM and April 5–6 at 2 PM in the Experimental Theater below the Performing Arts Center. Written by Matt Cox, who was inspired by books about pubescent youth finding their way at wizarding school, "Puffs" is a humorous and heartwarming story told from the perspective of the often-overlooked members of Puff House at a magical school.
