"For You, Blue" by Dawn DiCicco; Mixed Media; 24 x 48; 2024

(RED BANK, NJ) -- The Oyster Point Gallery presents works by Dawn DiCicco from February 21 through March 31, 2025. Dawn paints expressively to create complex and evocative works that convey explosive or meditative moments. This exhibit offers an in-depth look at her large and small-scale works. It also marks the beginning of her year as a 2025 Artist in Residence, a title she previously held in 2022.

"My inspiration often comes from nature, but not in a literal or representational way. Instead, I’m captivated by the organic rhythms, subtle textures, and vibrant colors in the world around me. Color is a central element in my work—I choose hues intuitively, drawn to those that resonate with me in the moment. It’s not about telling a specific story; it’s about exploring the emotions and energies that color can evoke," says Dawn.

Please join them for a cocktail reception to celebrate the opening of this exhibit on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at The Oyster Point Hotel (146 Bodman Place) in Red Bank, New Jersey. The reception is free and open to the public. Free parking is available.
