(BRADLEY BEACH, NJ) -- The Bradley Beach Tourism Commission presents the 1st Annual Bradley Beach Jazz Festival February 7-8, 2025. The festival will take place at the Historic Bradley Beach Elementary School Theatre from 7:00pm to 10:00pm on Friday and 6:00pm to 10:00pm on Saturday evening.
The festival is set to light up the scene with a sensational lineup of jazz talent including local emerging artist Marel Hidalgo and the Coo Moe Jhee Jazz Band. Regional favorites performing are the James Moody Scholars and Charisa the Violin Diva along with international performers, the iconic history maker, music arranger and pianist Nat Adderley Jr, and world renowned jazz drummer and bandleader Winard Harper.
Top names in the jazz industry will be hosting and emceeing the festival. Among them are National Endowment for the Arts NEA Jazz Master Dorthaan Kirk and Wayne Winborne, Executive Director of the Rutgers Institute of Jazz Studies which is the largest and most comprehensive library and archives of jazz and jazz-related materials in the world. They will be joined by the Director of The Mental Health Association of NJ MHANJ and Jazz Singer and Actress Lynette Sheard.
The event is designed to support arts and culture, celebrate Black History Month, and benefit local businesses. Tourism Director Amy Hall said, “This inaugural Bradley Beach Jazz Festival is more than a showcase of incredible music and entertainment; it’s a celebration of our vibrant and diverse community. As we come together for this special event, we are proud to have a fantastic lineup grace the beautiful and historic Bradley Beach Elementary School stage.
