(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- The Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg will present the crazy contortions and gravity-defying stunts of the Zuzu African Acrobats on Friday, February 21, 2025.
Two performances will be presented: a 60-minute show, at 10:00am, geared for audiences in grades 3-8 as part of the School-Time series; and a 90-minute show at 8:00pm, that’s included in the Theatre’s Mainstage series. The School-Time series offers educational field trip opportunities for school groups and homeschoolers.
The Zuzu African Acrobats perform incredible stunts while displaying the beauty of the Tanzanian culture of East Africa. Their interactive shows include human pyramids, dish spinning, stick and chair balance, contortion, unicycling, juggling, pole acts, hoop diving, comedy, and more.
Every acrobat in the troupe has graduated from the Baba Watoto School for Performing Arts, which is internationally renowned for producing the highest quality performers. The cast consists of 14 performers, including nine acrobats, three dancers, and two musicians. The show offers an entertaining experience for the entire family, and it’s one that’s not to be missed.
Tickets for the 10:00am School-Time performance cost $8 per person, with one free chaperone ticket provided for every 15 tickets bought. Tickets for the 90-minute, 8:00pm performance cost $40, $35, and $30.
