(EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ) -- Kids and adults of all ages can face their fear of heights, compete in a digital treasure hunt, and tap into their inner climber at the fun-filled new indoor climbing gym HAPIK at American Dream. This will mark HAPIK's first location in New Jersey and fifth destination in the United States.
It will debut with a grand opening on January 25, 2025.
The gym will offer more than 50 climbing walls, each with three unique routes, and space to accommodate birthday celebrations and group events.
HAPIK pushes thrill-seekers to reach the summit with climbing walls that soar up to 24 feet in height, along with vertical challenges featuring eccentric designs such as Bambous, the Chimney, and the Rubik. Additionally, HAPIK offers an interactive digital treasure hunt, perfect for kids who crave an extra challenge. This treasure hunt can be enjoyed by solo climbers or as a competitive add-on for birthday parties.
“We are so excited to bring the wonderful world of HAPIK to American Dream,” said Antoine Richard, President, HAPIK. “By finally expanding into New Jersey, we hope to bring our unique brand of fun and educational climbing experiences to a whole new audience that will benefit from a massive boost in self-confidence, creating lasting memories for everyone to enjoy.”
“We are ecstatic that HAPIK is joining the American Dream family, offering yet another unique immersive activity for guests of all ages,” said Bryan Gaus, Senior Vice President and General Manager of American Dream. “This is a great opportunity for our visitors to challenge themselves, their friends and their families with a wide range of physical and mental challenges.”
HAPIK aims to provide a fun and exciting introduction to the world of climbing, encouraging participants of all ages—from children to parents and grandparents—to develop self-confidence, explore climbing, and accomplish feats they never imagined possible. Each course challenge utilizes an auto-belay system to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Shortly after opening, HAPIK will provide event booking opportunities that will elevate birthday parties, corporate team bonding events, school group and field trip climbing sessions, and more.
