Brookdale Community College Performing Arts Center presents "Blithe Spirit"

originally published: 01/07/2025

(LINCROFT, NJ) -- Prepare for an evening of laughter and enchantment as Brookdale Community College Performing Arts Center presents Blithe Spirit, a delightful supernatural comedy by Noël Coward, across two weekends in February. This whimsical play, famously brought to life by the talented Angela Lansbury, promises to captivate audiences with its blend of wit, humor, and supernatural mischief.

Blithe Spirit follows the misadventures of novelist Charles Condomine, who invites the eccentric medium Madame Arcati to conduct a séance as research for his new book. To his astonishment, the séance conjures the mischievous spirit of his late wife, Elvira, who is determined to disrupt his new marriage. As the supernatural antics unfold, hilarity ensues in this witty tale of love, jealousy, and the afterlife.

Performances take place February 14-15, 21-22 at 7:00pm and February 16, 23 at 2:00pm. Brookdale Community College Performing Arts Center is located at 765 Newman Springs Road in Lincroft, New Jersey.

Tickets are available at a general admission price of $20 plus service fees, with discounts available for ages 62+ and veterans on February 16th only at a reduced price of $15 plus service fees. Tickets are available for purchase online or by contacting the box office at pac@brookdalecc.edu or 732-224-2411.
