Here is a look at upcoming shows taking place from December 17-24, 2024 along with our featured listings. New Jersey Stage offers previews of concerts throughout the Garden State as well as select shows in New York City and Philadelphia areas. Click on the title to go to the full preview. Prepare to be enchanted with some of the world’s finest Irish dancers and musicians bringing the spirit of Christmas to life, in a show that will make you laugh, cry, and sing into the night.

Saturday, December 21 - Split Level Concerts presents Griffin House at the Jersey Shore Arts Center on December 21st. (OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter and storyteller Griffin House will perform at the Jersey Shore Arts Center in Ocean Grove on Saturday, December 21, 2024 as part of the Split Level Concerts series. Touring and making records for over 20 years, Griffin House has a discography that includes more than 15 albums and EPs. New Jersey native Cranston Dean will open the show. Showtime is 8:00pm.

Saturday, December 21 - The Wag's Christmas Spectacular is Coming to The Strand and Middletown Arts Center. One of our favorite bands here at New Jersey Stage is The Wag. If you want a guaranteed fun rock and roll concert, see one of their shows. And if you're a fan of holiday music, there's nothing better than The Wag's Christmas Spectacular - it's something like a good old fashioned holiday special played out live on stage.

Friday, December 20 - Newton Theatre presents From Good Homes on December 20th. (NEWTON, NJ) -- From Good Homes returns to The Newton Theatre on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 8:00pm. Named after a judge's explanation for leniency after the young band broke in to a club to finish their set, the band "from good homes" released 5 albums during their career - 3 of which were released by RCA Records.

Friday, December 20 - Roy's Hall presents "A Very Slambovian Christmas". (BLAIRSTOWN, NJ) -- On Friday, December 20, 2024, Roy's Hall presents "A Very Slambovian Christmas" - a perennial favorite for the venue. This  holiday show hosted by the Slambovian Circus of Dreams will 'flip your switch' and spark the holiday spirit in a fun 'outside the box' style. Showtime is 8:00pm.

Friday, December 20 - NJPAC presents CeCe Winans. (NEWARK, NJ) -- Only a few days before Christmas, CeCe Winans will light up your holiday with joyful music at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC). The 12-time GRAMMY® winner will perform in Newark on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 8:00pm and Saturday, December 21 at 8:00pm. She will be joined on the bill by special guests Roman Collins and Debbie Winans.

Friday, December 20 - Borgata presents A John Legend Christmas. (ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- A John Legend Christmas comes to the Borgata Event Center on Friday, December 20, 2024. Performing alongside a four-piece-band, Legend will deliver holiday classics from his hit album, A Legendary Christmas. Showtime is 8:00pm.

Saturday, December 21 - New Jersey Symphony returns with its holiday tradition: Handel's Messiah in Princeton and Newark. (NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Symphony will present three performances of George Frideric Handel's Messiah. The Symphony will perform the entire oratorio. The performances will take place Friday, December 20, 2024 at 8:00pm and Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 8:00pm at Richardson Auditorium in Princeton; and Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 7:00pm at Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark.

Saturday, December 21 - Surflight Theatre presents Holidays with the Jersey Tenors. (BEACH HAVEN, NJ) -- Surflight Theatre continues their 2024 Concert Series with Holidays with the Jersey Tenors on Saturday, December 21, 2024. Get in the mood with holiday hits as well as some Jersey Tenor favorites. Performances take place at 4:30pm and 7:30pm.

Saturday, December 21 - The Porchistas Home Studio Hosts a Winter Solstice House Show on December 21st. (MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- On Saturday, December 21, 2024, Winter Solstice, The Porchistas are hosting a special Holiday show at the house with a bunch of their closest friends in Montclair's tight-knit music community. The lineup includes Nicole Scorsone, Bern & the Brights, The Porchistas, and The Defending Champions.

Saturday, December 21 - The Levoy Theatre presents Magical Mystery Doors on Saturday. (MILLVILLE, NJ) -- Want to go out this week, but not interested in seeing a holiday show? The Levoy Theatre has the show for you. On Saturday, December 21, 2024, Magical Mystery Doors returns for a concert that blends and layers the music of three legendary bands to create something new and unique for music fans everywhere. Doors are at 7:00pm, showtime is 8:00pm.

Close Out The Year with Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes in Red Bank  (RED BANK, NJ) -- Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes return to Count Basie Center for the Arts for their annual New Year's Eve Show. With an early start, you can use it to close out 2024 with one of New Jersey's most popular bands or use it as the start of your festivities. The concert takes place on Tuesday, December 31 at 6:00pm (doors are at 5:00pm).

Broadway Stars and Dancers from Dance Theatre of Harlem join NJ Festival Orchestra for New Year's celebration  (WESTFIELD, NJ) -- A Westfield tradition returns Tuesday, December 31, 2024 with the New Jersey Festival Orchestra's New Year’s Eve performance "Broadway Through the Ages," and with a new start time of 5.00pm.

The 2025 honorees are: Smokey Robinson, John Fogerty, Emmylou Harris, Tom Morello, and Joe Ely. The event begins at 8:30pm.
