Celebrate the Holidays at Playhouse 22 with "Winter Wonderettes" (EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- "Winter Wonderettes", a musical by Roger Bean, runs at Playhouse 22 across two weekends (December 13-22, 2024). NJ State Council on the Arts is Accepting Applications for Creative Aging Initiative (TRENTON, NJ) -- The New Jersey State Council on the Arts is accepting applications for the Creative Aging Initiave Grant (CAI), which provides $10,000 to eligible arts organizations, libraries, veterans homes, senior and community centers, colleges/universities, and units of government to cover costs for arts learning experiences with New Jersey older adults aged 55 and over. Successful applicants will receive $10,000 of funding for each year of the two-year grant cycle, pending available resources.

Titled "Le Jeu de l'Amour," the program, led by journalist and writer Dan Aubrey, will explore how Napoleon’s brother and former King of Spain, Joseph Bonaparte, and his American mistress, Annette Savage, found passion and pain in the Trenton and Bordentown region of New Jersey. The event runs from from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
