(LANOKA HARBOR, NJ) — Harbor Stage Theatre Company presents "A Holiday Homecoming" from December 6-8, 2024, at Lacey Township High School.  Written by Steven Hensle, this is an enchanting adaptation of the beloved poem 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.

The fairies in the Christmas Realm have been losing their power and the Christmas ghosts may all be leaving the realm to become Halloween ghosts. Can the Christmas Fairy welcome humans to the show for the first time ever, stop the ghosts from defecting, and make the annual Christmas Show happen?

Bergen County Players presents "The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical"
 

(ORADELL, NJ) -- Bergen County Players (BCP), one of America's longest-running little theater companies, presents The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (Theatre for Young Audiences Edition), an "electrifying" (Newsday) musical adaption of the New York Times best-selling novel written by Rick Riordan, with a limited holiday run at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from December 7-22, 2024.

Holiday Magic Takes the Stage: Ballet Arts and Adelphi Orchestra Bring the Nutcracker to Life
 

(EMERSON, NJ) -- On December 14-15, 2024, Adelphi Orchestra and Ballet Arts will present "The Nutcracker" at River Dell High School. This year marks the third season in which Adelphi Orchestra, a professional, non-profit orchestra, and Ballet Arts, one of New York and New Jersey’s premiere ballet schools, partner to bring live music to this cherished holiday ballet.

​​​​​​​The Community Chest of Eastern Bergen County opened National Philanthropy Day and announced 28 grants were awarded, totaling $ 115,000, to 29 nonprofit agencies responding to increased need in the community. National Philanthropy Day is observed celebrated nationwide on November 15 annually to recognize the impact of giving in our society, the change we made, the change we are making, and the change yet to come.
