(CLIFTON, NJ) -- The Theater League of Clifton will hold auditions for its next dinner/theater production, "Girls Night Out," on December 3-4, 2024 from 7:00pm-9:00pm, at Mario's Restaurant (710 Van Houten Avenue) in Clifton. Call backs will be on December 5th.
The “interactive” murder/mystery comedy, written by D’Ann and Rick Artis, will have a cast of four women and one man. Linda Wielkotz will direct the show while Mark Peterson, president of the Theater League, will serve as the producer.
Performances will be held at Mario’s Restaurant on February 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 28 and March 1 and 2, 2025. Performances on Friday and Saturday start at 7:30pm and Sunday matinees begin at 4:00pm.
Regarding the plot of the production: four women, on their way to an evening at the theater, stop for dinner at the establishment owned by the ex-husband of one of them. Sometime between the salad and entre, the ex-husband ends up dead. Each of the women has a reason to wish him dead. The identity of the murderer will be revealed only by unwinding the plot.
The show is being presented through an arrangement with Play Dead Murder Mysteries.
