For this intimate acoustic performance, Tracy will be accompanied by Steve Conn, one of the two pianists on the recent Grammy-nominated album "Life Don't Miss Nobody." Axelrod Performing Arts Center presents "Fiddler on the Roof" starring Bruce Sabath. (DEAL PARK, NJ) -- The Axelrod Performing Arts Center in Deal Park presents an exciting new production of the classic musical Fiddler on the Roof, the 1964 winner of 9 Tony Awards, from November 1-24, 2024. Based on Yiddish author Sholem Aleichem's stories, with a book by Joseph Stein, the musical boasts a celebrated score by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick.
"Tradition" Art Exhibit Accompanies "Fiddler on the Roof" at Axelrod PAC. (DEAL PARK, NJ) -- Enjoy an evening filled with "Tradition" in both art and theater as Fiddler on the Roof is presented at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center, accompanied by a related art exhibit in the venue's Gallery on Grant. The exhibit, which runs through January 2025, consists of seven artists and one photographer and gives homage to the musical. Art Director Randye Krupnick curated this exhibit to mirror the storyline in Fiddler. Visitors will witness themes of life in Lithuania, cycles of seasons, cycles of life, photos of Israel and modern Op-Art created by an artist with Ukrainian roots.
Friday, November 1 - NBPAC presents Greg Hawkes with Eddie Japan performing the Music of The Cars. (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- As the keyboardist for the legendary Boston band and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members, The Cars, Greg Hawkes forged the sound of rock's New Wave. Together with Eddie Japan, Hawkes will be performing the Music of The Cars at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC) on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 8:00pm.
Saturday, November 2 - State Theatre New Jersey presents a Screening of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" on November 2nd. (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey presents a screening of the cult classic movie musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 11:00pm. (ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- Shake, Rattle & Roll Dueling Pianos, New York City's longest running all request Rock 'n Roll party, is coming to northern New Jersey to perform in The Community Chest of Eastern Bergen County's Fall Celebration on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Dueling pianists, Mark Weisner and Rob Carroll, will present an evening of live piano music, comedy, and cabaret at the Englewood Field Club (341 Engle Street) in Englewood from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Friday, November 1 - Iron Maiden to Perform Shows in Philly, Brooklyn and Newark. (HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company's NEXTStage Repertory presents Soul Samurai by Qui Nguyen from October 24 - November 3, 2024. After avenging the death of her lover, a young samurai girl named Dewdrop, along with her faithful sidekick Cert, must now battle through vampire-infested Brooklyn to make it back home.
