Get into the Holiday Spirit with "White Christmas" at Music Mountain Theatre

originally published: 10/28/2024

(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre (MMT) in Lambertville presents a three-weekend run of White Christmas from November 1–17, 2024.  White Christmas, the Irving Berlin musical based on the 1954 Paramount film starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen, will be the fourteenth mainstage show of MMT’s 2024 season, and the perfect way to usher in the holiday season!

After World War II, two veterans and iconic song-and-dance men, Bob Wallace and Phil Davis (Louis Palena, Jordan Brennan), follow two singing sisters (Katie Rochon Bartolacci, Jaimie Geddes) to their Christmas gig at a Vermont resort lodge, only to discover that the nearly bankrupt lodge they were to perform at is owned by their former commanding general (Edward J. Forsthoffer III). Romantic high-jinx abound as they scheme to help the general save his lodge and his life savings.

White Christmas, directed by Deven Miller, features such classic standards as “Sisters,” “The Best Things Happen While You’re Dancing,” “Blue Skies,” “How Deep is the Ocean,” and, of course, the titular hit, “White Christmas.” Audiences will leave humming this holiday favorite, ready to celebrate the season!

With music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, a book by David Ives and Paul Blake, based upon the film written by Norman Krasna, Norman Panama, and Melvin Frank, White Christmas is a beloved and heartwarming musical that has stood the test of time.

White Christmas will run on the MMT stage from November 1st–17th, with 8:00pm evening performances on Fridays and Saturdays and 3:00pm matinee performances on Saturdays and Sundays. A sensory-friendly performance will be offered on Sunday, November 10th at 3:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online.  Music Mountain Theatre is located at 1483 NJ-179 in Lambertville, New Jersey.
