originally published: 10/20/2024

(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Ocean Casino Resort presents Lenny Kravitz on Friday, November 1 at 9:00pm and Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 8:00pm. Regarded as one of the preeminent rock musicians of our time, Kravitz has transcended genre, style, race, and class over the course of a three decade-plus musical career.

Reveling in the soul, rock, and funk influences of the sixties and seventies, Kravitz has won four consecutive Grammy® Awards as well as setting the record for the most wins in the “Best Male Rock Vocal Performance” category. On May 24, 2024, BMG released Blue Electric Light, the latest album by Kravitz.

Don’t miss Lenny Kravitz’s only east coast shows on his Blue Electric Light Tour in Atlantic City at Ocean Casino Resort! Tickets are available for purchase online. Ocean Casino Resort is located at 500 Boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The hit lead single for Blue Electric Light, “TK421,” was released last October. This is the BMG recording artist’s twelfth studio album and his first double album. Parallel to the announcement of the release date, BMG released the second single off the album, “Human.”

“This song means so much to me, it’s about all of us,” said Kravitz about “Human.” “We are all in this, we are here to be human, we are all spiritual beings and in the human spirit, the journey is beautiful.”

Blue Electric Light was created in Lenny Kravitz’s own studio in the Bahamas. Serving as songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Kravitz wrote and performed most of the instruments himself, supported by his longtime guitarist Craig Ross. According to BMG, the new album is “a passionate suite of songs” by an artist whose music inspires millions of people around the world.

Over the course of his music career spanning more than three decades, Lenny Kravitz has released eleven studio albums and sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. He became famous with hits such as “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” “Fly Away” and “It Ain’t Over Til It’s Over.” The artist, who likes to reference 1960s and 1970s soul, rock and funk in his music, has won four consecutive Grammy Awards and also holds the record for the most “Best Male Rock Vocal Performance” Grammies. Most recently, as reported, he was nominated for induction into the legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, and honored with a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.
