(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Worlds collide when a Native American in law enforcement patrols the very lands in which he was taught to fear superstition and witchcraft. The Paranormal Ranger is Stanley Milford, Jr.'s chilling chronicle of his brushes with the bizarre that he’ll relate in his Ocean County Library Virtual Author Talk on Thursday, November 7, 2024. The event begins at 7:00pm.
Milford avoided shapeshifters and other supernatural phenomena as a youth in Navajo nation. But as a Navajo Ranger, he repeatedly faced the strange while patrolling its 27,000 square miles, probing animal mutilations, hauntings, UFOs, and Bigfoot sightings. His discussion promises to be an unearthing of the unexplainable.
The Paranormal Ranger is available at the Ocean County Library.
Stanley Milford, Jr. devoted 23 years to law enforcement after graduating from the U.S. Indian Police Academy in New Mexico, serving terms as Chief Navajo Ranger and supervisor of the Special Project Unit that probes cases outside standard definitions of criminal investigation, including reports of supernatural and paranormal activity.
