originally published: 10/03/2024

(PHILLIPSBURG, NJ) -- Norwescap is proud to host the 7th Annual Pork Roll Palooza presented by The Taylor Provisions Company, in partnership with the Phillipsburg Downtown Association, on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 11:00am to 5:00pm at Shappell Park, 353 South Main Street in Phillipsburg.  This family-friendly fest is one of the area's most fun fall events.  Admission is free. In the case of severe weather, the rain date is Sunday, October 13.

Not to be missed, this enjoyable community day boasts pork roll (in several iterations) and other dining options, live music, games, prizes, and a host of local crafters, vendors, small businesses, and community organizations.

For your dancing and listening pleasure, stop by the Gazebo in Shappell Park to the enjoy great Jersey Shore bands performing throughout the day.

Shorty Long & The Jersey Horns | For almost two decades, Shorty Long & The Jersey Horns, have been entertaining crowds from Boston MA to Key West FLA and all the way to Pittsburgh PA! During that time they have created quite a following, received numerous awards and opened up for and/or played with some of music’s biggest names ever… as well as being featured at many national sporting events.

Fish Eyed Blues | They spin a mix of traditional and contemporary blues along with blues-rock, giving it their own interpretation, merging the spirit and the soul of the blues with the energy of rock and roll, while respecting the artists that created it. Add in improv jams mixed with rock and funk, Fish Eyed Blues takes the blues and gives it its own makeover.
