(UNION, NJ) -- Prospective college students of art, architecture and design will be able to get feedback on their creative work at National Portfolio Day, hosted by Kean University on Sunday, September 15.

Students pursuing degree programs in fine arts studio programs, advertising, architecture, graphic design, interior design and industrial design will have the opportunity to meet with reviewers from more than 40 colleges, from the U.S. and abroad, and receive critical feedback and advice on pieces in their body of work.

The event at Kean, planned by the National Portfolio Day Association (NPDA), takes place from noon - 4:00pm at Green Lane Academic Building on Kean’s Union campus.

"Hosting National Portfolio Day at Kean University offers unparalleled access for students in New Jersey and the greater New York metro area," said Rose Gonnella, associate dean of Kean’s Michael Graves College. "We are proud to provide this platform where students receive valuable, critical feedback on their creative work, helping them refine their portfolios for college applications. With over 40 colleges represented, students have the unique opportunity to engage with a diverse range of institutions, all without the need to travel across the country."

National Portfolio Day events take place throughout the U.S., in international locations and online. Admission is free to students and their parents. Students must register to take part; walk-in registration is available the day of the event.
