(KENILWORTH, NJ) -- Eight community, corporate, and individual sponsors have signed on to support The Theater Project's annual golf outing on Monday, September 9, 2024 at the Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth.

The list of current sponsors includes A+ Tape; Aqua-Tots Swim Schools; Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services; Friends of the Union Public Library; JAG Physical Therapy; Dante Liberti, CFP; Richard J. Pierce, architect; and Progressive Edge Physical Therapy.

“The Theater Project plays a critical role in uplifting the voices of rising playwrights and actors all across our state,” said New Jersey Senator Joe Cryan (D-Union). “Dramatic arts are an often-overlooked form of expression, and I’m happy to support this organization and the impactful work they do every day by serving as honorary chair for their golf outing.”

The outing raises funds for The Theater Project’s many programs serving adults and young people in Northern and Central New Jersey, including its classes and showcases for high-school playwrights and its productions of new plays by local authors.

“We offer opportunities for rising actors and emerging playwrights of all ages,” said Artistic Director Mark Spina. “At the same time, we offer audiences ways to engage in the development of new work and new careers.”
