OUR HOUSE has assembled an extraordinary ensemble of FAMILY & FRIENDS to perform the CSNY repertoire. Tickets range from $29-$59.

Saturday, August 17 - Saxophonist Mindi Abair Blends Her Jazz with a Taste of Wine. Like a fine Cabernet Sauvignon, Mindi Adair's music is deep, layered, nuanced, earthy, and can be appreciated by both demanding critics and casual listeners. Comparing Adair's music to fine wine is no coincidence; wine has become a significant part of her life and livelihood. The Grammy-nominated saxophonist and singer will blend her jazz stylings with a love of wine on August 17, 2024 at the Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway, NJ.

Saturday, August 17 - Talking with Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers: A Lovin' Farewell. The term the blue-eyed soul was coined by Philadelphia radio DJ Georgie Woods in 1964 to describe The Righteous Brothers. While in the recording studio for the first time in 1963, the duo of baritone Bill Medley and the late tenor Bobby Hatfield took the name bestowed upon them at John's Black Derby nightclub in Santa Ana, CA, by black Marines stationed at the nearby El Toro base.

Saturday, August 17 - Lizzie Rose Music Room presents Professor Louie & The Crowmatix with the Woodstock Horns. (TUCKERTON, NJ) -- Professor Louie & The Crowmatix with the Woodstock Horns return to the Lizzie Rose Music Room on Saturday, August 17, 2024 to celebrate music from The Band & Bob Dylan. Aaron "Professor Louie" got his nickname from Rick Danko due to his work and friendship with The Band. Doors are at 7:00pm, showtime is 7:30pm.

Tuesday, August 20 - Count Basie Center for the Arts presents Gin Blossoms, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and Vertical Horizon. (RED BANK, NJ) -- Count Basie Center for the Arts presents Gin Blossoms and Toad the Wet Sprocket with special guest Vertical Horizon on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 7:30pm. This is a trio of great bands who emerged in the 90s with hits that are still played on the radio each day.

Tuesday, August 20 - The Vogel presents Sons of Cream. (RED BANK, NJ) -- The Vogel presents Sons of Cream on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 7:30pm. The band features Kofi Baker (son of Ginger Baker) and Malcolm Bruce (son of Jack Bruce) and Rob Johnson. Kofi and Malcolm grew up surrounded by music from an early age. Cream's music has become an integral part of their careers. And now joined by Rob they continue to play the music of their fathers and are making it their own. It's in the DNA...

(MIDDLETOWN, NJ) -- The Middletown Arts Center hosts the Middletown Summer Concert Series featuring The Weeklings, America's most unique tribute to the music and inspiration of The Beatles. The free, outdoor concert will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 7:00pm.

Friday, August 16 - Chris Pinnella + 10-Piece Orchestra set Encore Performance in Asbury Park on August 16th. (ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Join Chris Pinnella (former lead singer with Trans-Siberian Orchestra) along with his killer 10-Piece Orchestra as they bring you reimagined interpretations from some of the most prolific bands and songwriters of the last century. Pinnella and company have added an encore performance on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Tim McLoone's Supper Club in Asbury Park. Showtime is 8:00pm.

Friday, August 16 - Nebraska Folk-Americana Trio, The Wildwoods, to Perform in NYC. If music is a salve, then The Wildwoods could heal the world. The folk-Americana trio from Lincoln, Nebraska takes to guitar, violin, upright bass, and microphones with the simple purity of peaceful forests that soothe the soul. Whether performing an original song or putting their uncluttered stamp on timeless tunes, The Wildwoods exude melodic warmth.

Saturday, August 17 - Newton Theatre presents The Travelin' McCourys. (NEWTON, NJ) -- The Newton Theatre presents The Travelin' McCourys on Saturday, August 17, 2024. They are a bluegrass quintet led by brothers Ronnie and Rob, sons of the legendary bluegrass musician Del. Doors are at 7:00pm, showtime is 8:00pm.

Saturday, August 17 - Barclays Center presents Thirty Seconds to Mars. (BROOKLYN, NY) -- Thirty Seconds to Mars comes to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday, August 17, 2024. The band is touring in support of their latest album, It's The End Of The World But It's A Beautiful Day. Showtime is 6:30pm.

Saturday, August 17 - Albert Music Hall to Celebrate 50th Anniversary on August 17th. (WARETOWN, NJ) -- This year, Albert Music Hall is proudly celebrating its 50th Anniversary! The very first "Sounds of the Jersey Pines" show was held in November of 1974, and the weekly gathering of local musicians and music enthusiasts has continued ever since. Every Saturday night, visitors come to the Hall to enjoy a mix of Bluegrass, Country, Folk, Old Timey, Americana and Pinelands music, or to jam in Pickin' Shed.

Sunday, August 18 - Ivy Queen to Headline Newark's Latin Festival. (NEWARK, NJ) -- Mayor Ras J. Baraka, Deputy Mayor for Community Engagement Jacqueline Quiles-Mercado, and the Office of Violence Prevention and Trauma Recovery (OVPTR) will host the Annual Latin Festival on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from noon to 10:00pm, on Bloomfield Avenue between Lake Street and Clifton Avenue, in Newark's North Ward.

The 2025 honorees are: Smokey Robinson, John Fogerty, Emmylou Harris, Tom Morello, and Joe Ely. The event begins at 8:30pm.
