The Book of Will – Preserving the Bard's Work
 

Playing through July 28 at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey is The Book of Will. Lauren Gunderson wrote this play around 2017 in order to honor Shakespeare for "igniting her ambitions as a playwright."

"The Prom" Enters Final Weekend at Broadway Theatre of Pitman
 

(PITMAN, NJ) -- There are just four performances left for The Prom at Broadway Theatre of Pitman. Broadway's hit musical comedy closes on Sunday, July 28, 2024. In the play, four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue... and themselves.

 



Old Library Theatre presents Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella
 

(FAIR LAWN, NJ) -- Old Library Theatre (OLT), Fair Lawn Recreation Department's resident theatre company, will present Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella over two weekends, July 26 through August 4, 2024. Performances are on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00pm, with Sunday matinees at 2:00pm.

Music Mountain Theatre presents "The King and I"
 

(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre (MMT) presents a four-weekend run of The King and I from July 26 – August 18, 2024. This is the classic musical from the team of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II. It is the tenth mainstage show of MMT's 2024 season.

 



Vivid Stage Announces a Unique and Adventurous 30th Anniversary Season
 

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, has announced its 30th Anniversary season, celebrating three decades of bringing contemporary theatre to audiences in the state of New Jersey. This season, the company will present thirty performances of different kinds, in locations all over the region. It includes productions, a live series, a film, showings of a work in progress, improv, variety and more.

Mayor's Summer Concert Series Returns to Rahway with Exciting Lineup
 

(RAHWAY, NJ) -- Mayor Raymond A. Giacobbe is proud to announce the return of the Mayor's Summer Concert Series in August 2024. The series brings an incredible lineup of talented artists to the stage.
