11th Annual Wine Down Summer at Riverwinds

(WEST DEPTFORD, NJ) -- Raise a glass to celebrate the Wine Down of Summer at the 11th annual Wine Down Summer at Riverwinds, August  24-25, 2024 at the RiverWinds Community Center in West Deptford from 12 noon to 5:00pm each day. It's time to bid farewell to the sun-soaked days of summer with a spectacular bash! Join them for two unforgettable days filled with many of New Jersey's best wines, tantalizing food trucks, talented crafters, and electrifying live music.

Tickets are $20 for Guests 21+ Sampling and available for purchase online. Note: Ticket price goes up to $25 at the door. Non-Samplers 21+ and guests under 21 are FREE.

New Jersey Wine and Beer Events is a collection of festivals and events produced by GPS, Inc., a full-service Event & Production Management Company having produced an extensive array of festivals, events, concerts and productions over the last 20+ years. (TRENTON, NJ) -- The life and loves of noted area 19th century beauty Annette Savage will be the topic of a talk Saturday, February 9, 2025 at Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie. Titled "Le Jeu de l'Amour," the program, led by journalist and writer Dan Aubrey, will explore how Napoleon’s brother and former King of Spain, Joseph Bonaparte, and his American mistress, Annette Savage, found passion and pain in the Trenton and Bordentown region of New Jersey. The event runs from from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Cape May's Poet Laureate Sylvia Baer hosts three 1.5-hour interactive online seminars via Zoom this March that delve into American literature of the Victorian age. "The Concord Gang" on Monday, March 10, 2025 highlights Emerson, Thoreau and Alcott. "The Amherst Gang" on Monday, March 17, 2025 features Emily Dickinson and Helen Hunt Jackson.
