Thursday, July 4 - An Interview with Jim Loughlin of moe.. On Thursday, July 4, 2024, moe. will be returning to the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. Joining them will be summer tour collaborators, Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country and Neighbor. To celebrate the return of moe. for the 50th anniversary of the Stone Pony, I was able to catch up with Jim Loughlin (percussionist/Swiss army knife) and relive the glory days of past performances at the Jersey Shore while discussing the current state of the band.

Friday, July 5 - The Vogel presents Blackmore's Night. (RED BANK, NJ) -- The Vogel presents Blackmore's Night with special guests The Wizard's Consort on Friday, July 5 and Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 8:00pm. Legendary guitarist formerly of Deep Purple and Rainbow, Ritchie Blackmore, and award winning vocalist Candice Night created a new genre of music for all ages..., inspired by many melodies of the Renaissance period, and Blackmoreized into contemporary music. They call it Renaissance/Folk/Rock. This is the sound of Blackmore’s Night.

Tuesday, July 9 - bergenPAC presents Asia: The Heat of the Moment Tour. (ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- Asia brings The Heat of the Moment Tour to Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 7:00pm. Tickets range from $59-$199.

Thursday, July 4 - Bergen County, NJ Wind Symphony Partner to Bring 4th of July Concert & Fireworks to Overpeck County Park. (RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ) -- Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco, the County Board of Commissioners, and the County Parks Department have announced that the County of Bergen has partnered with the New Jersey Wind Symphony to bring a new special event to Overpeck County Park this 4th of July.

Thursday, July 4 - Pure Petty to Perform Prior to 4th of July fireworks in West Windsor. (WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- In what has become an Independence Day tradition, Pure Petty, the Mid-Atlantic region’s premiere tribute to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, will perform prior to the fireworks display on July 4th at the annual L.E.A.D. FEST at Mercer County Park in West Windsor, NJ.

Saturday, July 6 - Ocean Casino Resort presents Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo. (ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Ocean Casino Resort presents Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo on Saturday, July 6, 2024 in Ovation Hall. In a pop culture world defined by its perpetual changes, the partnership of singer songwriter Pat Benatar and producer-musician Neil Giraldo has been a potent, steadfast union that has soared to the top of the charts and into fans' hearts on their own terms. Showtime is 8:00pm.

Monday, July 8 - Pure Petty is Coming to Long Beach Island in July. (LONG BEACH ISLAND,NJ) -- Gloucester County-based Pure Petty will perform two outdoor concerts in LBI this July. They will be at Bay Breeze Park in Barnegat Light on July 8th (6:00pm to 9:00pm) and Boat Ramp in Ship Bottom on July 11th (6:00pm to 8:30pm). Admission to both concerts is free.

Tuesday, July 9 - Prudential Center presents Janet Jackson. (NEWARK, NJ) -- One year after announcing her highly anticipated return to the road with her ninth concert tour, Together Again, five-time GRAMMY®️ Award-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Fame®️ Inductee Janet Jackson reveals she will be adding 35 dates to the run. In addition, Nelly will join Jackson on tour across all dates as her special guest. Produced by Live Nation, the new leg of this tour will start in summer 2024, and include a stop at Prudential Center in Newark on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

Tuesday, July 9 - Celebrate America's Musical Heritage at the Ocean County Library Lacey Branch. (LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- Since America's inception, its music has conveyed an image to the world of a robust, continually evolving nation. Curious about the way music defines history? Find out during "What America Sounds Like: 250 Years of American Music" at the Ocean County Library Lacey Branch on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. The event begins at 2:30pm.

Paper Mill Playhouse announces cast and creative for "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical". (MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse has announced the full cast and creative team for Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, featuring a book by Oscar, Emmy and Tony Award nominee Douglas McGrath and words and music by Gerry Goffin & Carole King and Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil. Casey Hushion will helm the production, with choreography by Jennifer Werner and music direction by Wendy Bobbitt Cavett. Beautiful will play June 5 to July 3, 2024 at Paper Mill Playhouse. Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey kicks off Outdoor Stage season with the comedy 'As You Like It'. (MADISON, NJ) -- Romance and laughter abound in Shakespeare's delightful comedy As You Like It, which kicks off the summer season at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. The beloved play, one of the most popular in Shakespeare's canon, will be presented on the Outdoor Stage at St. Elizabeth University from June 19 - July 14, 2024.

'Uncle Buck' actress Elaine Bromka to Bring 'Tea for Three: Lady Bird, Pat & Betty' to Cape May. (CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Three former First Ladies will share some very intimate secrets during East Lynne Theater Company's critically acclaimed production of Tea for Three: Lady Bird, Pat & Betty from June 19 to July 6, 2024.

Scott Ehrenpreis Shares His Inspiring Mental Health Journey in solo show, "Clowns Like Me". (NEW YORK, NY) -- Mental illness is no laughing matter, but in the new solo show Clowns Like Me, audience members are encouraged to laugh, cry and enjoy the ride into the unknown. Clowns Like Me will have its New York Off-Broadway Premiere at the DR2 Theatre this summer. The witty, timely, and inspiring story is based on Sarasota actor and storyteller Scott Ehrenpreis’ true life struggles with mental illness and its stigmas. The play was written by Jason Cannon, who also directs. Previews begin on June 21, for a limited engagement through August 18, 2024. Opening night is slated for Sunday, June 30 at 6:30pm.

The Stage Comes Alive With the Yardley Players and 'The Sound of Music' at Kelsey Theatre. (WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- One of the most beloved musicals of all time will light up the stage when the Yardley Players present The Sound of Music June 28 to July 7, 2024 at the Kelsey Theatre on the West Windsor Campus of Mercer County Community College (MCCC).

Lauren O'Brien's "Lolo's Boyfriend Show" comes to Turn the Lights On Festival at Playhouse 46. (NEW YORK, NY) -- The charming, adventurous and witty Lolo is back with more show dates! Weaving together theater, multi-media, and music, award-winning performer Lauren O'Brien's hit solo show Lolo's Boyfriend Show, returns to NYC with 4 performances (July 5-14, 2024) at the Turn the Lights On Festival at Playhouse 46.

Music Mountain Theatre presents "Anything Goes". (LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre (MMT) presents a three-weekend run of Anything Goes from July 5-21, 2024. Anything Goes, the classic 1930s musical comedy, will be the ninth mainstage show of MMT's 2024 season, with direction and choreography by Louis Palena.

Thursday, July 4 - Morven Museum to Host Annual Fourth of July Festival featuring Civic Season Activities Connecting History and Civic Engagement. (PRINCETON, NJ) -- Morven Museum & Garden is set to host its annual Fourth of July Jubilee on Thursday, July 4, 2024 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at 55 Stockton Street in Princeton. This year's focus is Civic Season, a national program of activities connecting Juneteenth and July 4th to better understand the past and shape the future.

Thursday, July 4 - Bergen County's Star-Spangled Spectacular Set To Become A New 4th of July Tradition.
