(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County (JHMOMC) presents special musical event featuring Rabbi Nathan Langer from The Freehold Jewish Center on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 2:00pm. In a vibrant celebration of culture and tradition, Rabbi Langer will lead a lively rendition of songs from the iconic film-turned-Broadway sensation, Fiddler on the Roof.
Fiddler on the Roof is a timeless masterpiece that resonates across generations. It tells the poignant story of Tevye, a humble milkman, as he navigates the trials and triumphs of life in a small Jewish village in Tsarist Russia. Against a backdrop of sweeping social change, Tevye courageously strives to uphold his cultural and religious heritage, even as he grapples with the challenges of love, rejection, and acceptance.
