Registration and Interviews Now Open for Centenary Stage Company's Young Performers Workshop Summer 2024 Musical Theatre Intensive (HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company is now accepting interviews for the Young Performers Workshop Summer 2024 musical theatre intensive. The registration deadline for the program is July 12, 2024. In-person interview dates are taking place on Saturday, June 1st and Sunday, June 2nd, 2024 in the Little Theatre at 400 Jefferson Street in Hackettstown. They are scheduled by appointment between 4:30pm – 6:00pm.

White Eagle Hall presents Big Star - 50th Anniversary of "Radio City" (JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- This year marks the 50th anniversary of Radio City, the legendary sophomore from the highly influential Memphis band, Big Star. To celebrate, an all-star collective of musicians (led by the band's sole surviving original member, Jody Stephens) will perform the entire album. Joining Stephens will be some of the band's biggest fans, who have long been associated with Big Star-related projects, including Mike Mills (R.E.M.), Jon Auer (The Posies), Pat Sansone (Wilco), and Chris Stamey (The dB's). The tour comes to White Eagle Hall on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 8:00pm.

JCC Thurnauer School of Music Receives The Community Chest of Eastern Bergen County's Community Leadership Award (RIVER VALE, NJ) -- The Community Chest of Eastern Bergen County toasted and honored leaders' contributions to the community at its annual spring gala, Connecting Neighbors, at Edgewood Country Club in River Vale, New Jersey. Five leaders in the community were honored, including the JCC Thurnauer School of Music in Tenafly, New Jersey. Producer and director Harry Martin, an Emmy Award-winning TV journalist and an anchor of newscasts at three leading television stations in New York City, returned as emcee.
