(MANASQUAN, NJ) -- Grease is definitely still the word as the classic musical being presented at Algonquin Arts Theatre is one of the hardest tickets to get right now.  The production runs May 10-19, 2024, but nearly every performance is sold out. Photographer John Posada was on hand to take photos.

One of the world's favorite musicals hits the stage in a high-octane production featuring all the hit songs you love, including: "Summer Nights," "You're the One That I Want," "Hopelessly Devoted to You" and "Greased Lightning."  Grease features a Book, Music, and Lyrics by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey.

Danny, Sandy and the coolest gang of students from Rydell High take you back to the 1950's when drive-in movies, sock-hops and tough talkin' Pink Ladies defined a generation. So get ready to hand-jive the night away with this 'electrifyin,' musical that will make you want to stand up and shout, "A-wop-bop-a- loo-bop A-wop-bam-boom!"

The cast includes Rob Ryan (Danny Zuko), Alicia Rose Ryan (Sandy Dumbrowski), Jackie Nuzzo (Betty Rizzo), Nick D'Ambrosia (Kenickie), Thomas Krey (Doddy), Zach Love (Roger), Edward Itte (Sonny Latierri), Lindsey "La" Monaco (Frenchy), Claire McGowan (Jan), Cassidy Terracciano (Marty), Joseph Bryant (Eugene Florczyk), Jaclyn Itte (Patty Simcox), Jeff Bodnar (Teen Angel), Christine Desimas (Miss Lynch), John C. Short (Vince Fontaine), Jessa Bedser (Cha-Cha Digregorio / Ensemble), and Sean McLaughlin (Johnny Casino / Ensemble).

Members of the Ensemble also include Delaney Bogusz, James Chianese, Giovanna Crego, Katie P. De Cataldo, Marissa Deveau, Samuel Feldman, Danny Marks, Ramses Mondragon, Kylie Mulvihill, Xiomara Rosas, and John Wisienski.

Small

'Small' Brings Big Energy to George Street Playhouse

When thinking about occupations kids say they want when they get older, a list comes to mind – doctor, superhero, firefighter, etc. But not many would find their passion at the horse racing track and say they want to become a jockey. In "Small," an autobiographical play written and performed by Robert "Bobby" Montano, the story follows Montano as he races and fulfills his dream on the horse racing tracks of Long Island, New York. It does not stop there, however. The 90-minute play is a story of love, loss and more as Montano grapples with some difficult life decisions.
