First-time playwright Erik Kahn has managed to showcase the beauty of overcoming one's circumstances. Set on August 31st, 1939, his play "Canned Goods" details the little-known false flag operation that preceded the start of the Second World War. Three men were code-named "Canned Goods" by Himmler and were used by the SS to justify Hitler’s invasion of Poland.
United Solo Concludes 2024 Spring Season With Grand Awards Gala

The New Jersey Clearwater Festival to Return to Asbury Park Labor Day Weekend 
(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The New Jersey Friends of Clearwater (NJFC) has announced that they are returning to Asbury Park on Labor Day Weekend August 31 and September 1, 2024 for their 49th Annual NJ Clearwater Festival. The celebration of the environment with music, song and information about how to protect it is the state's largest eco-festival. Hours are 1:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday and 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday.

Mercer County Bike Drive Collects over 150 Bicycles for Boys & Girls Club 
(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- On the unseasonably cold afternoon of April 13, 2024, Mercer County's Park Commission and Planning Department hosted their fourth annual Bike Drive for the benefit of the Mercer County Bike Exchange (BEX) and Boys & Girls Club (BGC). Over 150 bikes were contributed by donors from all over the county and surrounding area.

It provides an invaluable platform for students aged 13 to 19 to showcase their skills in various artistic disciplines and to gain recognition and feedback for their work. It is one of 19 county teen arts festivals that send participants to the New Jersey State Teen Arts Festival in June. For work to be adjudicated at the state level, it must first be selected for adjudication at the county level.
