Middletown Arts Center Accepting Submissions for MAC ONE-ACTS Play-Reading Festival (MIDDLETOWN, NJ) -- The Middletown Arts Center is accepting submissions for The MAC ONE-ACTS annual play-reading festival featuring original, one-act works by New Jersey playwrights. Entries from New Jersey residents ages 18 and older will be accepted and must be original, unpublished scripts adhering to standard professional play format with run-times of no longer than 30 minutes. Submission deadline is Friday, April 26, 2024, at 11:59pm.
West Hudson Arts & Theater Co presents "Disaster! The Musical" (HARRISON, NJ) -- The West Hudson Arts & Theater Co (WHATCo) brings its Main Stage season to a close with a hilarious production of Disaster! The Musical for two weekends starting April 26th at The Theater at WHATCo. Middlesex County Farmland Preservation Program completes acquisition of 7-acre farm located in South Brunswick Township (SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Middlesex County safeguarded a 7-acre farm located in South Brunswick Township through the Farmland Preservation Program on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. The County, in partnership with the state and the Township of South Brunswick, purchased the development rights for the farmland located on Davidsons Mill Road, owned by Candice Howard and Thomas Brys, of South Brunswick Township, for $235,438. The State contributed $141,262.80, the County paid $47,087.60, and South Brunswick Township paid $47,087.60 towards the purchase.
