State Theatre New Jersey presents "The Kite Runner"
 

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey presents The Kite Runner, a play with music based on Khaled Hosseini's internationally best-selling novel for two performances on Friday, May 3 at 8:00pm and Saturday, May 4 at 8:00pm. Salar Nader, the renowned musician who dazzled audiences in the Broadway production, will reprise his role as tabla player for the tour.

 



WHATCo presents the 2024 One Act Play Festival
 

(WEST HUDSON, NJ) -- The West Hudson Arts and Theater Company (WHATCo) has announced the finalists for The 2024 One Act Play Festival which will be presented Friday and Saturday, May 17 and 18. Nearly 1,000 playwrights from throughout the area submitted their original one act plays for consideration.

Imperial Brass With Special Guest Levi Boylan
 

(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Imperial Brass will feature Levi Boylan – the Principal Trombonist of the NJ Symphony Orchestra, in a concert at the Montclair Salvation Army Citadel on Sunday, April 28, 2024. The program will include Ferdinand David's. "Concertino for Trombone". Showtime is 3:00pm.

Barry Manilow to extend his residency at Radio City Music Hall With Shows in October
 

(NEW YORK, NY) -- Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) and The Bowery Presents announced that on the heels of selling out five nights at Radio City Music Hall between May 31 and June 4, 2023 and five upcoming shows from April 17-21, 2024, Barry Manilow will extend his residency at Radio City and add five consecutive shows on Wednesday, October 9; Thursday, October 10; Friday, October 11; Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13, 2024.

But President Joe Bertolino believes the university's impact should go beyond that, including serving as a catalyst for artistic and cultural expression in southern New Jersey. (PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Lewis Center for the Arts' Program in Theater and Music Theater will present Foibles and Fables: Songs of Magic and Memory!, a concert of original and Broadway songs performed by the Princeton Playhouse Ensembles led by Solon Snider Sway and featuring guest Broadway and Grammy performers and musicians. Directed by faculty member Aaron Landsman and cosponsored by the Department of Music, the concert is on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Berlind Theatre at McCarter Theatre Center, 91 University Place on the Princeton campus.
