Brookdale Community College Hosts Spring Open House

(LINCROFT, NJ) -- Brookdale Community College invites prospective students and their families to join them for their Spring Open House on Sunday, April 14, 2024, from 1:00pm to 3:30pm. The event will start at the Collins Arena near parking lot #6 on the campus map.

The Spring Open House offers an exciting opportunity for visitors to discover the diverse array of academic programs, state-of-the-art facilities, and student resources available at Brookdale Community College. Attendees will have the chance to:

* Tour the New Cybersecurity Center: Explore our cutting-edge Cybersecurity Center, equipped with the latest technology and resources to prepare students for careers in this rapidly evolving field.

* Sample Culinary Arts Cooking: Experience the creativity and culinary treats from their Culinary and Hospitality program.

* Learn About the Honors Program: Discover the benefits and opportunities available through their Honors Program, designed to challenge and engage high-achieving students.

* Experience the New Multimedia Production Option: Get a glimpse of their latest academic offering in multimedia studies, designed to prepare students for digital media and communication careers.

The Spring Open House will kick off at 1:00pm with a welcome address at the Collins Arena. Guests are encouraged to arrive at noon for check-in and registration.

2025 Princeton Festival to Take Place June 6-21

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) has announced its performance line-up for this year's Princeton Festival, New Jersey's premier performing arts festival, taking place June 6-21, 2025 on the beautiful grounds of Morven Museum & Garden. The performing arts showcase includes chart-topping hits of music icons, superstar soprano Renée Fleming, songs by Sondheim, a tumultuous opera by Giacomo Puccini, an evening of dance, music of Vivaldi and the Motor City, plus a joy-filled finale featuring the music of ABBA. A Baroque concert and violin recital take place at nearby Trinity Church.

Rahway Hosts Inspiring Aviation Event Featuring Acclaimed African American Pilots

(RAHWAY, NJ) -- The City of Rahway is soaring to new heights with an aviation-focused event celebrating Black History Month. Hosted by the Social Justice Committee, along with Mayor Raymond A. Giacobbe and the Rahway City Council, Career Day with the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals offers a unique opportunity for residents to explore careers in aviation and aerospace. The event takes place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at The Gallery Space (1670 Irving Street) in Rahway.
