Salvador Dali and Sigmund Freud Meet in Lisa Monde's Play "Dali's Dream"
 

(NEW YORK, NY) -- Salvador Dali's wish to meet the famous psychoanalyst comes true in a dream... where Dali finds himself at Dr. Sigmund Freud's sanitarium and becomes part of the famous sessions conducted by the "father of modern psychology". All of this happens in Lisa Monde's play Dali's Dream. The limited engagement runs April 5-27, 2024 at The Gene Frankel Theatre in NoHo. The play is produced by MONLI International Company LLC and The Onomatopoeia Theatre Company.

This production,based on the Arthur™ book series created by Marc Brown and adapted for the stage with Book & Lyrics by John Maclay and Music & Lyrics by Brett Ryback, runs weekends from March 8-24, 2024 at the Historic Palace Theatre. The Theater Project to Honor winners of 22nd Annual Young Playwrights Competition
 

(UNION, NJ) -- Twelve talented New Jersey high school students will be honored in The Theater Project's 22nd annual Young Playwrights Performance and Awards Ceremony on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 7:30pm. The event includes opportunities to meet the honorees and see the four winning plays read by professional actors. The Theater Project, is a leading incubator for rising talent and a showcase for New Jersey artists. The event is free to watch via Zoom.

Makin Waves with Renee Maskin: Helping Hands
 

​​​​​​​The Garden State Film Festival will screen Asbury Park singer-songwriter Renee Maskin's Makin Waves Award-winning video "Scrimshaw" on March 23 at Asbury Lanes. The short film was produced by award-winning filmmaker John Decker, Renee’s boyfriend, whose work has been featured at the festival before.

Gerry Perlinski talks about Lost Romance Celebrating a Classic Album by The Black Crowes
 

The New Jersey rock band Lost Romance has been plugging away since 2011, averaging close to 100 shows a year. On Saturday, March 30, 2024 they will have a show unlike any they've done before when they present a celebration of The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion album by The Black Crowes. The show takes place at McLoone's Supper Club in Asbury Park and they've put together a supergroup of Jersey musicians (Joshua Van Ness, Ryan Greg, Deseree Spinks, Kindra Rose, and Sandy Mack!) to be part of the night.

 



Monmouth Civic Chorus Announces 2024 Scholarship Auditions
 

(RED BANK, NJ) -- Monmouth Civic Chorus has announced its annual scholarship auditions for vocally talented New Jersey high school seniors planning to pursue higher education. The auditions will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, beginning at 2:30pm at the United Methodist Church of Red Bank, 247 Broad Street, Red Bank, NJ. The application deadline is March 30.

 



Princeton Symphony Orchestra Announces Special 2024-25 Season
