Valentine's Day Special Rate for Washington Crossing Brewfest Tickets

originally published: 02/14/2024

(WASHINGTON CROSSING, PA) -- The first, and best, beer festival of the season in Bucks County, PA is back at Washington Crossing Historic Park for its 13th year! Washington Crossing Brewfest will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 12:30pm to 4:30pm in the upper part of the park at 1638 River Road in New Hope, PA. Early Bird Tickets are on sale now until 11:59pm on February 14 at a discounted price of $45. After that, General Admission Tickets are $55 until sold out.

When asked about this year’s event, Jennifer Martin, Executive Director of the Friends of Washington Crossing Park, said, “Washington Crossing Brewfest has been nominated by USA TODAY’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards as one of the top 20 Favorite Beer Festivals in the country. Time and time again, our attendees say our unique location in a natural and picturesque environment is their favorite part of the day. This year, Brewfest is going to be bigger and better than ever! We have expanded upon our wide selection of IPA’s, allowing attendees to sample a variety of beer and brewed malt beverages - including hard ciders, kombuchas, seltzers, spiked teas, and others throughout the day. It will feature even more delicious drinks from dozens of local, regional, and nationally-known breweries.”

The ticket includes a souvenir sampling cup and two-ounce pours from a variety of craft and commercial breweries. Hear live music from First Highland Watch, a rock and roll bagpipe band, as well as the park’s Fife and Drum Corps. Eat mouthwatering food from vendors in a beautiful wooded setting overlooking the Delaware River. This is a volunteer run event and all proceeds help the Friends of Washington Crossing Park educate the public, promote history, and preserve the park for future generations.

Tickets are available online at www.washingtoncrossingbrewfest.com, where guests can add a commemorative limited edition t-shirt to their order. A limited number of Designated Driver tickets are also available for $17.76. To avoid paying online fees, tickets can be purchased from 10 AM to 5 PM daily at Washington Crossing Historic Park’s Visitor Center at 1112 River Road Washington Crossing, PA 18977.

All breweries and food vendors interested in participating at Brewfest should contact Katherine Manning at kmanning@friendswcp.org before March 15. Washington Crossing Brewfest is a food, beer and malt beverage-only event, vendors who fall outside these categories are not accepted. Wine and spirits are not served or sampled.

This event serves as the park's largest fundraiser, which goes towards the annual Crossing Reenactment, Memorial Day Celebration, and Independence Day Celebration. They are still accepting event sponsors, who will receive recognition via social media and exposure to 2,700 patrons at the event.

The Friends of Washington Crossing Park shares the powerful story of General George Washington’s daring crossing of the Delaware River on Christmas Night 1776 and interprets its ongoing impact on world history for both today’s citizens and future generations. Through the fundraising and the generous support of our donors and members, we are able to maintain and sustain this significant historic site and welcome thousands of schoolchildren, families, individuals and groups every year.  In partnership with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the Friends offer guided interpretive tours and educational programming in the park. The group also holds a number of annual events, several fundraisers and more.
