"A Matter of Faith" to have World Premiere at The Chain Theatre
 

(NEW YORK, NY) -- A Matter of Faith, a new play by Ian Richard Barnes, will have its world premiere beginning January 24 for a limited off-Broadway engagement. Directed by Augustus Childres, A Matter of Faith will run thru February 4 at The Chain Theatre at 312 West 36 Street. The cast of this three-person, 85 minute play, features Ava Paris Locknar, Henry Frontini and Ian Richard Barnes.

(TEANECK, NJ) -- In association with The Estate of Edward Albee, Black Box PAC presents a reading of 1980's The Lady From Dubuque on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Debonair Music Hall (1409 Queen Anne Road b/w State Street and Walraven Drive) in Teaneck as part of their Edward Albee: From A To Zoo, An Exclusive Stage Reading Series of Edward Albee's Plays.

The Lewis Center for the Arts presents silver through the grass like nothing
 

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Lewis Center for the Arts at Princeton University will present silver through the grass like nothing, a new solo work-in-progress by Princeton Arts Fellow yunida edi kwon. The performance on Wednesday, January 31 at 8:00pm in the Hearst Dance Theater at the Lewis Arts complex on the Princeton University campus is free and open to the public; no tickets are required.

 



Westminster Conservatory Noontime Recitals resume January 18th
 

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Westminster Conservatory at Nassau will resume with a recital of music for solo piano and piano four-hands on Thursday, January 18 at 12:15pm. The performers are Westminster Conservatory faculty members Galina Prilutskaya and Inessa Gleyzerova Shindel. The recital will take place in the Niles Chapel of Nassau Presbyterian Church (61 Nassau Street) in Princeton. It is open to the public free of charge.

Vivid Stage presents screenplay reading of "Jacqueline Remembers All of This"
 

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, will present a free screenplay reading of Jacqueline Remembers All of This by David Lee White, Dave Maulbeck and Maribeth Theroux on Monday January 22, 2024 at 7:00pm. This project will be the first feature film produced by Vivid Stage, and is adapted from their production of Blood: A Comedy by David Lee White.

Building a healthy community is the center of this year’s initiative that unites local artists, organizations, and businesses to promote awareness and engagement around social justice issues impacting local communities.
