originally published: 01/10/2024

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Westminster Conservatory at Nassau will resume with a recital of music for solo piano and piano four-hands on Thursday, January 18 at 12:15pm. The performers are Westminster Conservatory faculty members Galina Prilutskaya and Inessa Gleyzerova Shindel. The program on Jan. 18 comprises selections from Schubert's song cycle Die Schöne Müllerin arranged for piano; W.A. Mozart's Andante with 5 Variations, K. 501; three selections from Songs Without Words by Felix Mendelssohn; and 3 Nouvelles Danses Espagnoles, op. 65 by Moritz Moszkowski.

Her students have received numerous awards and acknowledgements of excellence in piano study.

Gleyzerova Shindel received a master’s degree in music from the Belorussian Academy of Music, Minsk. If you're unfamiliar with my life's mantra, perhaps you’d recognize it if I were instead to say "la vida es un carnaval, es más bello vivir cantando." Now put a salsa beat under it and add the iconic voice of the Queen herself, Celia Cruz. Sound familiar? One would hope.
