(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Jersey City Theater Center will present two performances of The Last Match: A Pro-Wrestling Rock Musical on Monday, September 26 at 2:30pm and 7:30pm at Jersey City’s White Eagle Hall. Just like the world of professional wrestling, The Last Match is chock full of colorful, bombastic entertainment mixing theater, rock, and live wrestling.
Conceptualized and directed by Jeremiah James with book and lyrics provided by Jason Huza. Sylvana Joyce and C. Robert Smith of Jersey City-based Sylvana Joyce and The Moment were composers and lyricists. The Last Match is a first of its kind, fully immersive rock musical paying homage to the art of professional wrestling. The cast includes Tony-nominated actor Ramin Karimloo and Broadway favorite and TikTok sensation Amber Ardolino.
“We’re honored to have one of our favorite Jersey City-based artists, Sylvana Joyce, and her team developing her new rock musical at Jersey City Theater Center with all-star Broadway cast.
