Brookdale President Named to Top 25 Most Influential in Higher Education

(MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ) -- Brookdale Community College has announced that President David M. Stout, Ph.D., has been named to ROI-NJ’s Influencers: Higher Education 2022 list. Each year, ROI-NJ lists the presidents with the greatest influence and impact on their schools and within the business community.  

A longtime leader in the state, the school serves more than 20,000 students at its six locations throughout Monmouth County, including the picturesque 220-acre main campus in Lincroft.  

Over the past year, Brookdale Community College was ranked #1 in offering the best community college programs in New Jersey, according to research by Best-Community-College.com. It has also been recognized for four top programs in the United States by Intelligent.com, and for two years in a row, recognized among the top-ranked institutions offering the Best Associate in Psychology Degree Programs, together with the Best Transfer Program, positioning itself as a frontrunner for preparing students for a four-year degree at a university or college. Additionally, Brookdale was recognized by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs for having produced the most Gilman International Scholarship recipients over the past twenty years in the Study Abroad category.

Brookdale Community College is a public college in Lincroft, New Jersey. Founded in 1967, Brookdale offers AA, AFA, AS, and AAS degrees in 75 academic programs, 7 Academic Credit Certificates, and 11 Academic Credit Certificates of Achievement. In addition, Brookdale has fully online degree programs in Business Administration, English, History, Liberal Education, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Social Sciences, and Cybersecurity Certificate of Achievement. Furthermore, they offer partnerships with top four-year colleges and universities to make the transfer process seamless and with local businesses to provide students with the opportunities to achieve their educational and career goals. 2025 Princeton Festival to Take Place June 6-21

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) has announced its performance line-up for this year's Princeton Festival, New Jersey's premier performing arts festival, taking place June 6-21, 2025 on the beautiful grounds of Morven Museum & Garden. The performing arts showcase includes chart-topping hits of music icons, superstar soprano Renée Fleming, songs by Sondheim, a tumultuous opera by Giacomo Puccini, an evening of dance, music of Vivaldi and the Motor City, plus a joy-filled finale featuring the music of ABBA. A Baroque concert and violin recital take place at nearby Trinity Church.
